In Riverview, Florida, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported an incident where five juveniles roamed a neighborhood late at night. Surveillance footage captured two of them approaching a residence; one, notably wearing a ski mask, aggressively kicked the front door and discharged an airsoft gun before escaping. The Sheriff's Office emphasized the potential dangers of this trend, urging parents to discuss the serious consequences with their children.

Similarly, in DeBary, Florida, two teenagers faced felony burglary charges after participating in the challenge.
